Zoo Tycoon 2: Endangered Species Edit Edit source History Talk (0. Browse through thousands of animals, objects, patches, and all kinds of additions to the game. Recent blog posts Forum in: Zoo Tycoon 2. All remakes that actually do replace the animal in question are listed in the BF animal pages at the bottom. Welcome to the ZT2 Download Library Wiki This is an extensive library of user-made downloadable content (also known as 'mods') for the videogame Zoo Tycoon 2. Regarding remakes, we had a discussion on what to consider a remake and what not, since some "remakes" don't really replace the animal ingame. On your second point, you can click on the sicentific name under an animals name to check other versions (including remakes) as well as subspecies, breeds and hybrids, like this: Canis lupus. However if enough people feel the same, I guess we could hide them from the animal, location and biome categories, so you could only reach them when looking for them.

There's also a ZT2 Modding Wiki which could be interesting with a bit of work put into it, though as it is it's still more useful than the ZT wikia. On the other hand we have the ZT2 Download Library Wiki which is centered in usermade content and designers, that I think is what the community is really interested in currently.
#ZOO TYCOON 2 DOWNLOAD WIKI HOW TO#
So basically, making a wiki about the game itself is kind of pointless right now, as people don't seem to care much about things such as biome or space requirements, since:ġ-They don't use the original animals anymore.Ģ-Most people use biome/space hacks and place all animals in grassland or whatever fits the zoo.ģ-We already know how to edit such things by just changing a few numbers in a text file. Meaning, most people try to avoid BF stuff as much as possible, there are plenty of hacks to change the gameplay entirely (unlocking hacks for campaigns, biome and space hacks, grid/free placement hacks, etc.) The problem I see with fixing it is no one seems to play the game "the way it was intended" anymore. I agree with you, the ZT2 wiki seems to have been written mostly by a few people writing mostly about their own creations, and the rest of the content is a mess between info from ZT1, ZT2, old usermade content and personal opinions.
